JTF impounds vessel with N310m stolen crude oil | The Nation

The Joint Task Force (JTF) in the Niger Delta yesterday said it has impounded a vessel allegedly carrying some 2,500 tonnes of crude at Okuboto Creek in Bayelsa State.  The Sea Express was conveying suspected stolen crude oil worth $2 million.

It was gathered that the 2,500 metric tonnes of suspected crude oil contained in the vessel translates to about 18,000 barrels of crude oil.
